Hello, my name is Wiepkjen and I live in the Netherlands. I decided to write my blog in english though this language is not my mothertongue. So I am bound to make lots of mistakes. Please feel free to correct me.
When I got my first digital camera a couple of years ago I was mainly shooting landscapes and macro’s. Especially the macro possibilities enchanted me and no bug or flower in my garden remained unphotographed. But after a year or two I was more and more getting the ‘been there, done that’ feeling and I was ready for some new challenges.
So now I am also trying my hand at birds and at street photography in its widest sense. People and all they provoke will never stop to amaze me.
So I watch it all with my camera. Why don’t you come and watch with me…

I write in English because I am most comfortable with it and because it is the most widely understood. I am glad you are here.
